Initially bred to help control herds of sheep in the outback, the swift, indefatigable Australian Kelpie has limitless energy focused on work, a compact build, weather resistant coat, agile movement, intense gaze, and needs constant activity or a job to feel fulfilled. Kelpies thrive best in active, working dog homes with owners who understand their working instincts.
