Feisty and self-confident despite its small size, the Australian Terrier has a scrappy demeanor, short sandy coat, topknot of longer fur, lively expression, watchdog abilities, and need for moderate activity and cuddles. Though sometimes stubborn, Australian Terriers thrive as pampered companions along with brisk walks and games of fetch. Grooming is easily accomplished by regular brushing sessions and the occasional bath.
