The friendly English Setter has a uniquely spotted coat, playful nature combined with focused field intensity, graceful trotting across countryside, moderately long coat with feathering requiring some extra grooming, exercise requiring plenty of interactive play and brisk running in safe open spaces. The English Setter is the smallest of the Setter group and most at home with an active family able to provide it with positive training methods and gentle but consistent training and socialization.
