Bred by the Chukchi people for racing across the frozen Siberian tundra and pulling light, rapid sleds, the midsize Siberian’s coloring and body structure makes him a stunning breed to behold. Featuring a thick, short, weatherproof coat that is easy to maintain, an alert expression with erect triangular ears, and distinctive eyes and facial features, the Siberian Husky possesses tireless endurance, paired with a happy-go-lucky nature, and a strong pack drive. They prefer company, including other dogs, and have a love for digging and romping. The Husky also has a mischievous streak, much to the enjoyment and exasperation of his family.
