Established thousands of years ago to defend Egyptian estates, the Mastiff, known for its humongous size and courageous demeanor, possesses a massive and powerful physique. Covered by a short and easy-care coat that sheds moderately, it serves as an imposing guard dog with innate protective reactions, backed by its intimidating size and strength. Despite their enormous size, the breed is actually quite laid back and calm, and gentle with children. Needing only moderate exercise consisting of daily walks along with mental stimulation such as puzzle games, this breed is imposing and needs a lot of space to stretch out. The owner best suited for this giant breed is someone that doesn’t value personal space, doesn’t mind drooling, and has the financial stability to afford to feed and maintain a pet that is the size of a human!
